Faceless
This is series I created in 2020 for my thesis at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have since changed tack and have started a whole new thesis project for my graduation in Fall of 2021.
The images represent the marginalization of homeless people. They are treated as faceless beings, as less than human. They are drawn in charcoal onto newsprint. The expressive gestural drawings and the paper they are drawn on are meant to represent the grittiness of their lives.
